NLZIET and XroadMedia get personal for OTT users

NLZIET, the national on-demand platform of the Netherlands from all three major broadcasting groups (NPO, RTL and Talpa), and XroadMedia, leading specialists in building innovative and ground-breaking content discovery and personalisation solutions, are partnering to deliver a truly personalised TV service to users in the Netherlands.

NLZIET offers the biggest online collection of content from Dutch broadcasters with more than 150.000 movies, TV-series and programmes. With the help of XroadMedia’s Ncanto solution, NLZIET users can take full advantage of advanced search and personal recommendations – helping them to effortlessly enjoy content they love based on their preferences, interests and viewing behaviour. Furthermore, with the help of XroadMedia’s advanced management console, Piloto, NLZIET is able to optimise the content delivery to their users based on NLZIET’s business goals and specific requirements from their stakeholders.

Before starting the rollout, XroadMedia suggested for NLZIET to test their solution to experience its benefits firsthand. After a short implementation phase, the trial has delivered an increase in customer satisfaction rates, which made the decision easy for NLZIET to start the full rollout of Ncanto and Piloto in their services immediately after the trial period.
