ANGA COM 2023: Key Topics Fibre, Streaming and OTT
October 27, 2022
With more than 18,000 participants from 82 countries and 390 exhibitors, ANGA COM, Europe’s leading Exhibition and Conference for Broadband, Television & Online, celebrated a brilliant comeback in May 2022. The next show date is May 23rd to 25th 2023 in Cologne, Germany.
For the next year – 7 months in advance – a further increase is already apparent. There are already registrations for more than 12,000 sqm gross exhibition space with numerous stand enlargements. This corresponds to more than half of the gross exhibition space of 2022. The increase is particularly large in the area of fibre optics. In addition to vendors, also network operators and investors are strongly represented. These include, for example, the companies Deutsche Glasfaser, Deutsche GigaNetz, Liberty Networks Germany, Plusnet and VX Fiber with stand spaces between 30 and 150 sqm. Also in the conference programme, fibre topics will be massively expanded: In 2023, there will be an International FTTH Summit for the first time with international and practical showcases on fibre roll-out. A new special area for media distribution including a “Streaming & OTT Hub” will have its premiere in 2023. Within its core areas of broadband and audiovisual media, ANGA COM will thus once again upgrade new TV and video topics. Part of the special area in hall 7 will be an attractive piazza with a presentation stage on innovative topics from the areas of streaming, OTT and AppTV. Here, exhibitors can present their innovations in keynotes, interviews and panel discussions directly in the exhibition hall. Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO of ANGA COM: “With end of May, we once again have a perfect date in early summer. After a fantastic comeback, we will shift into an even higher gear next year for both key topics, fibre optics and media distribution. I am particularly pleased that the new fibre investors are massively expanding their presence in the exhibition halls. This is also a clear signal to our vendors that there is huge potential ahead of us. For TV, Streaming and OTT, we will start with a completely new hall concept. This will make coming to Cologne even more attractive for exhibitors and visitors from the media sector alike.”
