Little Door expands executive team

Wales based, independent production company Little Door Productions, the producer behind BBC drama, The Pact, are expanding their executive team with newly created roles for Bethan Jones (Playground) and Beth Grant (BBC). Little Door Productions was founded in 2019 by CEO Elwen Rowlands and COO Hayley Manning.
Jones joins Little Door as Executive Producer. An experienced producer/executive producer, Jones has worked on series and singles including: Hartswood’s Sherlock, War and Peace, Aberfan: The Green Hollow, Baker Boys, Pobol Y Cwm, Merlin, A Poet in New York, Under Milk Wood and Les Miserables with BBC Wales Drama and Lookout Point. After a time with Cuba Pictures, she joined Playground Entertainment as Executive Creative Director in 2019 and executive produced Dangerous Liaisons for Starz/Lionsgate. Jones remains Co-Creative director of RED SEAM, the Wales based company she co-founded in 2019, and will continue to develop their projects with Little Door’s support.
Jones said of her appointment: “I’m very much looking forward to being back home [in Wales] and working with the brilliant team at Little Door.”
Grant joins the Little Door team as Development Executive, fresh from the BBC where over the last 4 years she has held the roles of Development Producer for BBC Writersroom Wales and both Story Editor and Script Editor on Casualty for BBC Studios. Before her time with the BBC, Grant held roles with Tidy Productions and Newman Street.
Grant comments: “I am delighted to be joining Little Door. Their bold vision and elegantly told stories means their creative stamp is undeniable, and I am excited to be a part of this expanding team.”
Once at the helm in their new positions, both Bethan and Beth will work alongside CEO, Elwen Rowlands, and Head of Development Sam Costin, who joined Little Door from The Ink Factory in 2020.

To welcome Bethan and Beth to the team is fantastic – they are both hugely respected in their disciplines and their wealth of experience will undoubtedly be etched in the future foundations of our television slate.”
With a slate of adaptations and original content already in development today’s announcement comes at a time of ambitious and exciting accelerated growth for Little Door.
Little Door Productions debut BBC drama, The Pact (Season 1), became one of BBC iPlayer’s most streamed shows of 2021, paving the way for the second season, which is currently airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The company has further productions slated for next year.
