Moonbug Entertainment, a subsidiary of Candle Media and a kids entertainment company, and Cinemark, one of the world’s largest and movie theatre companies, are partnering to bring Blippi to the big screen this summer. Blippi, the popular live-action preschool brand, will bring its signature curiosity, playful and educational fun to select US theatres in a long-form 60-minute special, Blippi’s Big Dino Adventure, starting August 25th.

The premium special was produced by Moonbug Entertainment specifically for cinematic distribution. The first-of-its-kind distribution partnership with Cinemark allows Blippi and Meekah fans the opportunity to connect and engage with the brand in a larger screen format together with their family and friends. Moonbug believes every child should have access to its entertaining and enriching content, which is why their shows are available on more than 150 video platforms globally in 29 languages including American Sign Language.

Blippi’s Big Dino Adventure – launching exclusively at Cinemark – sees Blippi and his best friend Meekah go on one of their biggest dinosaur adventures yet. When Blippi and Meekah run into Park Ranger Asher and his energetic dinosaur crew at T-Rex Ranch, Park Ranger Asher asks for their help in retrieving some missing dinosaur eggs. But, Blippi and Meekah must hurry to find and return all the eggs before they hatch! With a map in hand, they are off on their search, finding eggs in the most unexpected places, like a ball pit at an indoor playground. With just moments to spare, Blippi and Meekah return the eggs and celebrate the only way they know how, with a Dinosaur Dance!

Theater locations and ticket sales for Blippi’s Big Dino Adventure will be announced in July.
