Curiosity Inc, the factual entertainment and media company, is delighted to announce the appointment of Ludo Dufour as Vice President of Licensing, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Dufour, an experienced international media executive, joins the team to lead and drive the global licensing of Curiosity’s large and growing portfolio of award-winning factual films, series and specials.

Dufour will be responsible for maximising the full value worldwide of Curiosity’s IP, which spans the entire factual genre including history, technology, science, nature and wildlife, travel, adventure and more. Dufour will report to Curiosity’s President and CEO Clint Stinchcomb.

Originally from France and now based in Los Angeles, Dufour’s career spans non-fiction co-production and distribution, with a special focus on documentaries and factual entertainment. At Curiosity, Dufour will spearhead licensing and distribution for the company’s premium original programming, which includes such titles as the BAFTA-nominated David Attenborough’s Light on Earth, produced by Terra Mater Factual Studios, The Real Wild West presented by Grammy Award-winner Dom Flemons and produced by Roller Coaster Road Productions, as well as the series Beyond The Spotlight, executive produced by Academy Award-winner Leonardo DiCaprio.

Prior to joining Curiosity, Dufour made significant contributions at Red Bull Studios, focusing on the financing, co-production, and global distribution of top-tier television programming and theatrical documentaries including the BAFTA and Grierson-award winning The Red Mo Farah.

His previous roles include Senior Vice President of International Co-productions and Sales at Blue Ant Media and Managing Director of Distribution at Off the Fence, where he was Associate Producer for the Oscar and BAFTA-winning My Octopus Teacher.
