November 28, 2023

Warner Bros Discovery UK & Ireland has announced five commissions for discovery+ and linear, including three brand-new shows and two returning.

Fatal Flight: Shoreham delves into a story of a fighter jet that crashed into a busy main road during The Shoreham Air Show in 2015, killing 11 people and injuring many more. The pilot who survived the crash soon faced questions on whether his flying was to blame for the disaster. Using shocking footage captured by spectators from the crash scene, interviews with victim’s families and survivors, of whom many are speaking for the first time, this is the story of the disaster, its aftermath and the seven-year fight for justice and truth behind the fatal flight. The film, produced by Ricochet, will drop on discovery+ in December.

Fans of Henry Cole and Fuzz Townsend can look forward to their return in an 8×60 series for Quest, Shed & Buried: Classic Cars. For the last few years the pair have been sifting through the nations sheds looking for all manner of automotive treasure but in this new brand new series they are on the hunt for a different type of prey – classic cars. From beach buggies to classic minis and Land Rovers they will buy them, restore them, have fun with them and hopefully sell them on for a tidy profit. Each of these HCA Entertainment produced episodes will feature a different vehicle with the series airing early next year.

The series is produced by Electric Pictures.

Help! My House is Haunted returns for a sixth season, featuring new stories of the UK and Ireland’s most captivating cases of paranormal phenomena. Together, Ian, Barri and Jayne identify, seek to communicate and capture proof of the paranormal, bringing peace to the living and the dead.
