Bubble Agency appoints McCallum as Commercial Director

Bubble Agency, the global PR, marketing and events specialist for the media and entertainment technology and services sectors, has appointed Dayna McCallum as Commercial Director. Based in Los Angeles, McCallum will spearhead the agency’s worldwide business development efforts in the newly created role.

Working closely with Bubble’s UK-based Business Development Manager, McCallum will be responsible for growing the agency’s services — spanning PR and marketing strategy, content creation, thought leadership, media and analyst relations, social media, digital marketing, lead generation and events organisation — among new and existing clients.

With over 20 years of marketing, communications and publishing experience in the media and entertainment sector, McCallum has worked with some of the biggest names in post production and entertainment technology. McCallum joins Bubble Agency after nearly eight years as Publisher of postPerspective, which she helped build into a leading publication for the production and post production industry. Before joining postPerspective, McCallum spent several years as Senior Strategist at a well respected PR and marketing consultancy specialising in entertainment technology.

Previously, McCallum served as Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications for Ascent Media’s Creative Services Group, where she oversaw all marketing strategy and public relations outreach for the industry’s largest collective of creative post production companies, including Company 3, Encore, Encore VFX and Todd-Soundelux. Her work with the company spanned the episodic television, feature film, commercial and entertainment technology markets in both the US and UK. She is actively involved with the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) and is a Founding Committee Member of the HPA Awards.
