MPLC appoints Pollock as SVP & Global Head of Studio Relations

Motion Picture Licensing Corporation (MPLC), the largest contributor of public performance audio-visual royalties to the entertainment industry, has announced the appointment of Roger Pollock as Senior Vice President & Global Head of Studio Relations. The newly created position underscores MPLC’s investment in exceptional talent to collaborate with its industry partners, enhancing global compliance with public performance regulations. This important development comes as MPLC continues to expand significantly and highlights the organisation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with rightsholders across the globe.
Pollock brings a depth of experience to MPLC, with a career spanning over four decades in the entertainment industry. Beginning in 1982 at the BBC in London, Pollock has held influential roles in international distribution, marketing, and production. Notably, his leadership at Paramount Pictures International which contributed to a record-breaking $3.2 billion in global box office earnings. Now based in Los Angeles, Pollock’s role is pivotal in strengthening MPLC’s global partnerships with rightsholders.
