Mostelecom selects Conax protection

Conax has announced that Mostelecom, a subsidiary of National Telecommunications (NTK), and has entered a contract with the content protection specialist. With the new partnership, Conax will provide advanced chipset pairing and CI+ technology to protect the content delivered by NCN (National Cable Networks) to more than two million subscribers in Moscow, covering 95 districts.

The cable industry scored record highs in both national and local advertising revenues in 2010, according to the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau.
