GreenPeak Technologies, People Power Company, Sigma Designs, SEAS-NVE, Orange, iControl Networks, N.V. Nuon Energy, Telecom Italia, AlertMe, Swisscom, and Echelon will address the changing market dynamics for control and energy systems in the home, including consumer interest, awareness levels, and steps to attract new customers.
Parks Associates estimates over 50 per cent of Western European households will have a data network by the end of 2012, creating the foundation for new service deployments such as remote home monitoring and energy management. “Offering bundled services and interactive features is critical for service providers in customer retention and subscriber growth, ” said Stuart Sikes, President, Parks Associates.
