Poland’s platform ‘n’ adds BBC channels

Poland’s Platform ‘n’ DTH platform has made channel expansion a major part of its 2011 strategy. Q1 2011 marks the addition of four thematic channels from BBC Worldwide Channels– offerings that enhance the operator’s proposition for its growing subscriber base.
Beginning on February 1st 2011, Platform ‘n’ will provide its viewers exclusive access to BBC Knowledge HD in Poland. Subscribers will also get BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle and CBeebies, which will be offered in standard definition. These thematic channels will join BBC HD, which has been available on Platform ‘n’ since May 2010.
