Hoekstra named Discovery Asia President

Discovery Networks International (DNI) has named Arjan Hoekstra as the new head of the Asia-Pacific region, effective September 1st.
As President and Managing Director of Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP), Hoekstra will be responsible for developing the overall strategies for DNAP’s business to drive revenue across ad and affiliate sales, build the portfolio’s core brands and look for partnerships to drive the content and profile of DNAP within the region. He will be based out of the Singapore office, DNI’s hub for the Asia-Pacific region.
Hoekstra joins DNAP from Eurosport where he has been Managing Director of Eurosport Asia-Pacific and Eurosportnews Distribution.
