Euroconsult welcomes new Deputy Director of Broadcast & Broadband

Euroconsult, the global consulting firm in the satellite and broadcasting sectors, has announced the hiring of Marc Welinski as Deputy Director of Broadcast & Broadband. In this new position, Marc will oversee and further develop Euroconsult activities in the fast-converging environment of broadcast and broadband businesses.

Welinski brings 20 years of experience and expertise in satellite, television and new telecommunications technologies. Formerly Director of Marketing & Commercial Strategy at Eutelsat, Welinski has held high level executive positions across the broadcast and telecom industries in the Pathé Group, France Telecom, France Television and the Vivendi Group. Welinski graduated from Ecole normale supérieure in Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

The arrival of Welinski brings a new dimension to Euroconsult’s expertise in the broadcast and broadband sectors, which leverages the ongoing research and consulting conducted over the last twenty years. Euroconsult’s rich body of work encompasses two dimensions:
•    Geographical and business coverage, with the assessment of markets and business models of several hundred companies in over 50 countries, ranging from the most advanced to developing digital markets
•    Comprehensive coverage of the value chain, ranging from technical solutions for content management and transmission to distribution and go-to market strategies
