Motors TV has joined Virgin Media’s M+ TV package on channel 545.
The channel moves from Virgin Media’s XL TV package to the more widely accessed M+ TV package. Following its recent expansion to Freeview and YouView, Motors TV has expanded its total reach to 19 million and strengthened its long-standing reputation as the country’s leading motorsport and motorcycle broadcaster.
Subscribers to Virgin Media’s M+ TV package can now watch coverage of the FIA World Rally Championship, V8 Supercars, FIM MX World Championship, FIM Endurance World Championship and a host of other premier international and domestic racing series.
“We are delighted to further expand Motors TV’s reach within the UK,” commented Head of Programming and Acquisitions Frederic Viger. “We heard a lot of fans suggesting we joined Virgin Media’s M+ TV package and, thanks to Virgin Media, we’ve been able to make this a reality.
“It has been an important year for us in this respect, with Freeview and YouView both significantly broadening our reach. As such, moving to Virgin Media’s M+ TV package is the perfect way to end 2014.
