VeEX , a global player in Telecom, CaTV, Fibre and Broadband Access, has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract with a Japanese Tier 1 Service provider for 100GE Service Delivery.
This contract is based on VeEX’s latest innovation on 100G testing, the RXT-6000 Module. Built on the RXT-1200 portable, modular platform, the RXT-6000 Module supports Ethernet rates from 10Base-T to 100GE, OTN, Fiber Channel and SDH/SONET technologies.
“After extensive evaluation, some of the key features for our selection included size, portability, weight, ease-of-use and fastest boot-up to reduce time to test. In addition, the built-in GPS receiver for accurate One-way Latency measurements from 1GE to 100GE, was an important factor for our success,” states Ricardo Torres, Director of Product Marketing for VeEX. “This solidifies VeEX’s position as a customer-oriented leader and innovator while delivering the smallest and most complete multi-service 100G platform tailored for the field. The modularity of the RXT platform provides a future-proof solution to increase return on investment, and in a time frame ahead of the competition,” added Torres.
The RXT-6000 Test Module is part of the RXT-1200 modular chassis. The RXT Platform supports an extensive series of technologies from Transport (Datacom, T-Carrier, PDH, SDH, SONET, and OTN), Ethernet, Fiber Physical Layer Testing (OTDR, OSA, OPM), RF, Broadband DSL access and Teleprotection test solutions, all in one multi-purpose test suite.
