DNMG selects ABOX42

German cable operator association Deutsche Netzmarketing (DNMG) and ABOX42, a German provider of advanced STB solutions, have agreed on a partnership agreement for Germany for delivery of advanced IPTV STBs as part of the recently announced white label IPTV solution to German cable operators.
From now on the members of DNMG can provide to their customers a compelling solution for the first screen based on the M20-Series SmartSTB platform from ABOX42. The ABOX42 STB platform is fully integrated with the IP based TV solution provided by Zattoo.
The first screen proposition contains a rich Linear TV channel line up, which is delivered over IP in SD and HD Quality. In addition the solution contains all well known DVB-features such as DVB-Teletext and Multi Audio. The solution supports PVR function and 2nd screen control including integrated remote programming. Due to the broad compatibility to modern TV services the solution also offers a configurable bouquet of IP based OTT services like HbbTV for the major German Broadcast Channels and VoD. The total white label TV solution allows members of DNMG to provide an IP based total TV solution both for the first screen based on the ABOX42 STB platform and for the second screens.
