Videocon adds HD channels

India’s Videocon d2h pay-TV operator has upped the number of HD channels to 37. It has added Star Movies Select HD and Fox Life HD to its existing portfolio.

Videocon d2h says this part of a drive to boost its HD offerings to 50 channels “shortly”.

Videocon d2h has achieved many firsts in the Indian DTH industry, including being first to launch a 4K Ultra-HD channel, as well as offering 1000 GB HD Digital Video Recorders and Radio Frequency Remotes for DTH which enhances ease of access to content; Wireless DTH Headphones for an enhanced viewing experience; and 500 channels and services.
