Germany: Sony networks on Amazon Channels

AXN, Sony Channel and Animax are now available for the first time as part of the Amazon Channels service in Germany and Austria.

In a ‘first of its kind’ deal between Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPTN) and Amazon, the linear pay-TV channels and associated on-demand programming will be available to subscribers  on the streaming service. Sony Channel, AXN and Animax will be available for an add-on subscription to Amazon Prime members in the territories.

AXN, Sony’s male-action orientated offer, includes exclusive premiere franchises Power, produced by rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson; Kingdom starring Frank Grillo & Nick Jonas and Snatch starring Rupert Grint.

Sony Channel showcases the finest selection of European drama series such as UK’s prime time hit, Poldark; and critically acclaimed French shows Baron Noir and Call My Agent!

Animax delivers the best Anime shows from Japan including Sailor Moon Crystal based on the legendary anime series, the very original actioner Sword Art Online and fantasy thriller Erased.
