With the battle for its football pay-TV subscribers ongoing, Vodafone has launched a new promotion that offers its pay-TV service for free for a year.
This is Vodafone’s response to the low cost promotions currently being offered by Movistar and Orange in their fight to capture Vodafone’s 400,000 football subscribers following the British company’s decision not to acquire football TV rights.
All new and current subscribers to the convergent package Vodafone One (usually €52 a month) will enjoy Vodafone TV Total for free for a year, including 120 TV channels and thousands of hours of VoD content, including HBO and AXN Now.
For subscribers to Vodafone TV, the company will also offer them the cinema package with Movistar Estrenos and Filmin and the football package for €5 a month for a year. Vodafone will also give 25GB of data for free during September.
