Viacom to relaunch VH1 in the UK

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has announced it will relaunch VH1 in the UK as a lifestyle and general entertainment channel. From October 2nd, the current music channel will reposition as a new destination for unscripted shows.
The refreshed channel will debut a raft of US reality favourites for the first time in the UK, including new series, Love and Hip Hop Miami. Also amongst the launch line-up will be Black Ink Crew, Love & Hip Hop New York, and the full back catalogue of the Emmy Award-winning RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

VH1 will be managed and programmed by the MTV UK brand team and is available on Sky 174 and Virgin 316.
