JUMP integrates voice assistant functionality

January 7, 2019

JUMP has announced the launch of its platform integration with Apple’s Siri and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistants. JUMP’s customers — video service providers, Pay TV operators, broadcasters, OTT providers — can now use voice assistance to access results from any of JUMP’s data-driven modules.

Increased competition in the pay-TV space has driven operators to focus on customer acquisition and retention, which in turn requires deeper, more accurate insights about the people using their services. Equipped with knowledge about user viewing habits and preferences gleaned from data analysis using cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques, JUMP’s customers can take concrete steps such as delivering relevant and compelling video recommendations or launching marketing campaigns to convert users and prevent churn.

JUMP understands that the actionable insights delivered by its solutions can require action at any time, 24/7, 365 days a year. Integration with Siri and Alexa facilitates round-the-clock operations by allowing managers to access the results of JUMP’s data analysis without having to be sitting in front of a computer and logging onto the system.

“We truly believe that cutting-edge AI technologies will transform the video industry as we know it, thus taking it to the next level,” says Jerónimo Macanás, CEO and co-founder of JUMP. “We are committed not only to leveraging AI technologies to provide insights to address the specific challenges of the video service industry, but also to use technology to make our customers’ jobs easier.”
