Nexstar Media OTT launch with ViewLift

ViewLift has announced that its OTT streaming and monetization platform has been selected by Nexstar Media Group to power KRONon, a new digital video subscription service recently launched by the leading local TV broadcaster’s flagship San Francisco station, KRON4. The Nexstar/ViewLift collaboration makes the Bay Area’s leading news and community coverage available to viewers anywhere, at any time across iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV devices, and on the web.
KRONon includes live broadcasts and selected archived video clips covering Bay Area, national, international, sports, politics, business, tech, and lifestyle programming, along with weather reports and other unique features. KRONon is a subscription product, available for $2.99 a month or $29.99 per year.
ViewLift’s end-to-end distribution and monetization platform provides a comprehensive solution, enabling Nexstar to roll out their digital experiences across all major OTT devices. This includes live streaming technology, enabling the brand to share breaking live stories to any user on any platform.
