3 Screen Solutions (3SS), a provider of software solutions for STB and multiscreen digital entertainment, has been chosen by Uruguayan cable and OTT service provider TCC to help develop its next generation TV service to launch in 2020.

TCC’s new service will be powered by 3READY Android TV + Multiscreen, 3SS’ front end and UI framework solution featuring an Android TV Custom Launcher STB.

TCC has decided to build its upcoming service based on increasingly popular Android TV Operator Tier, Google’s proposition for service providers who wish to deliver advanced TV products featuring the vast array of attractive apps in the Google Play Store and Google Chromecast pre-integrated, alongside Google Assistant. TCC will incorporate 3SS´s front end solution into its SaaS platform for the pay-TV industry in the region.

Furthermore, 3SS will carry out Google Assistant Android TV integration, along with enabling 3READY Assistant, 3READY’s innovation which further enriches voice search.
