Nat Geo Asia picks up Food Lab & Mexican Fiesta

National Geographic Asia has picked up two culinary-themed titles from Parade Media.

National Geographic Asia has acquired Food Lab produced by Aussie Indie Prodco, Cultivate Productions. Viewers follow Australian MasterChef favourite allumni, Ben Milbourne, as he explores the food science behind cooking with hipster nerd Joel Gilmore to answer kitchen conundrums home cooks face. The series which originally aired on SBS Australia, showcases beautiful Tasmanian locations, over 150 inspiring recipes that can be replicated at home, as well as some of the Australia’s top researchers explaining what is going on in our kitchens when we cook every day.

Additionaly they have picked up Peter Kuruvita’s Mexican Fiesta produced by Australian Production outfit The Precinct. This series follows Sydney chef, Peter Kuruvita, who embarks on a breathtaking journey of culinary discovery through the vibrant, mouth-watering world of Mexican cuisine.
