Vodafone Spain is speeding up its 5G deployment and plans to extend into five more cities in the country by summer 2020 – coinciding with the first anniversary of its 5G launch, according to El Español.
The five cities most likely to see a 5G launch are among these candidates: Murcia, León, Alicante, Córdoba, Granada, Valladolid, Elche, Oviedo, Cartagena, Albacete, Burgos, Cádiz and Badajoz.
Vodafone will continue to launch its 5G services in partnership with Huawei and Ericsson. Vodafone launched the first 5G services in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Málaga, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Vitoria, San Sebastián, A Coruña, Vigo, Gijón, Pamplona, Logroño and Santande earlier this year.
