India: New Japan wrestling on Eurosport

Eurosport and Eurosport HD India, the sports channels from the house of Discovery, have agreed a deal with second-largest pro-wrestling property in the world – New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Content from NJPW will expands Eurosport’s portfolio of pro-wrestling offerings with the exclusive India broadcast slated to begin from January 9th with weekly episodes to be telecast every Saturday and Sunday.

Eurosport’s partnership with the 48-year-old wrestling franchise for 2020-21 will include broadcast of all the marquee fixtures of the NJPW calendar for the year including Wrestle Kingdom, New Japan Cup, Best of Super Juniors and G1 Climax.
