Premier Sports rebrands

July 9, 2021

Premier Sports has unveiled a rebrand to its visual identity including a new logo for its overall brand and a new logo for the Premier Sports Cup (Scottish League Cup) which begins on July 9th as Kelty Hearts host Dundee United from 7.15pm.

It was announced in April that Premier Sports would become title sponsors of the Scottish League Cup, with the competition being renamed the Premier Sports Cup. This agreement dovetailed with an extension to its broadcasting deal for the competition until 2027.

Working alongside Mammoth, a branding agency based in Belfast, Premier Sports have created a new master logo incorporating a semi-circle motif within the design as a visual concept to the live sport synonymous with Premier Sports who broadcast over 1,000 live events per year across its network.

In the past three years, the Premier Sports brand has gone from strength to strength acquiring sports content such as LaLiga, Serie A, the best games from the Scottish Cup, the Scottish League Cup, TOP14 Rugby, and recently extended its broadcasting deal with the United Rugby Championship for the next four years. Premier Sports will continue to broadcast the NHL, NASCAR, GAA and Speedway where it has built up a core fan base over the past decade since its inception in 2009.

The live and exclusive Premier Sports Cup fixtures are:

Kelty Hearts v Dundee United | July 9th

Hearts v Cove Rangers | July 13th

Queen’s Park v Motherwell | July 14th

Ross County v Dundee | July 18th
