BBC commissions Unbreakable from 110% Content

The BBC has commissioned 110% Content, the production company founded by former ITV Head of Entertainment Commissioning Siobhan Greene and former MD of 12 Yard Andy Culpin, to make Unbreakable, a brand-new celebrity competition format coming to BBC One and iPlayer later this year.
The 6×60’ factual entertainment show will see some of the UK’s favourite celebrities and their real-life partners put their relationships to the ultimate test by taking part in mental, physical and emotional challenges, all designed to reveal whose relationship is in fact, ‘Unbreakable’.
Siobhan Greene, Managing Director, and Andy Culpin, Creative Director, 110% Content, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Unbreakable to BBC One and iPlayer and can’t wait to put our celebrity couples through their paces to find out who has an unbreakable relationship.”
Michael Jochnowitz, BBC Commissioning Editor, said: “Just when you think you’ve seen it all before, along comes a format which takes you by surprise. Then again, coming from such great producers, it was no surprise at all.”
Unbreakable has been commissioned for the BBC by Catherine Catton, Head of Commissioning, Popular Factual and Factual Entertainment, and the Commissioning Editor is Michael Jochnowitz.
This commission marks the first for 110% Content, the independent production company led by Siobhan Greene, Andy Culpin and Denise O’Donoghue. At ITV, Greene oversaw and commissioned the biggest entertainment portfolio in UK television including Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey and The Masked Singer.
culpin was previously the Managing Director and co-founder of 12 Yard Productions, the company responsible for hit formats including Eggheads, Coach Trip, Big Star’s Little Star and I’ll Get This. Prior to this he was Head of Development for BBC Entertainment where he was responsible for developing the international hit format Weakest Link.
