beIN renews deal with Alpha Networks, Cognacq-Jay Image

Alpha Networks, a provider of software solutions for the video distribution market, and Cognacq-Jay Image, a service provider in the media industry for playout, head-end, and digital platforms, have announced that beIN Media Group has extended the contract for development, maintenance and support of its OTT platform for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), adding two extra years to the already long-term partnership.
The extension will mark a transition from a hybrid B2C/B2B to a B2B only approach for the global sports and entertainment giant, beIN Media Group.
Thanks to a complete solution, Alpha Networks’ Tucano APIs are connected to a large number of front-end providers and payment gateways, allowing beIN’s OTT platform, beIN Connect, to now address several operators and satellite operators in the MENA region.
