July 27, 2022

Vuulr, the online content marketplace for film and TV, and VICE Distribution has announced a partnership to list over 1,000 hours of VICE’s youth focused, premium unscripted series and documentaries on the Vuulr marketplace.

Titles listed on Vuulr span investigative documentary, entertainment, sport and lifestyle content, including the hit wrestling show ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ that explores the darkest stories from the golden age of professional wrestling; ‘Chasing Famous’ which steps inside the UK’s premier multi-million pound influencer hub ‘The Wave House’, to see what it takes to make it on TikTok; and ‘Devoured’, a series that shines the spotlight on unbelievable stories of how food fuels criminal enterprises and alters the culinary landscape forever.

Bea Hegedus, Global Head of Distribution, VICE Media Group, said: “VICE Distribution is a new generation distribution company and we embrace technology and innovation. Vuulr is an innovative marketplace that we see as complementary to our sales team’s activities and we are confident that they will quickly enable us to maximise our potential of reaching even more new buyers around the world.”

Ben Heyhoe Flint, Co-Founder and COO at Vuulr, said: “We’re thrilled that a company as original and fast-growing as VICE Distribution is choosing to place global avails of their award-winning content on Vuulr. Their content champions diversity and change, tackling important cultural issues, giving even more variety to our catalog. We look forward to unlocking new opportunities for VICE Distribution and our 8,000 buyers.”

VICE’s premium titles will be available for licensing to buyers worldwide. Content buyers need only login on Vuulr to watch trailers and screeners, check rights availability and make an offer to negotiate directly with VICE Distribution.
