Sky Sports now in UHD on Virgin TV

Virgin Media O2 is now offering its existing TV customers the ability to watch live Sky Sports channels in Ultra HD. All existing Virgin TV customers can add the Sky Sports Ultra HD package – which includes Sky Sports Main Event Ultra HD and Sky Sports Ultra HD 1 – to their bill for an extra £7 per month.
With the new service, customers will be able to watch a range of live sport in spectacular Ultra HD and HDR including the Premier League, cricket, darts and much more.

With Sky Sports Ultra HD now available on our platform, fans of the Premier League, Formula 1 and a host of other top sports will be able to get even closer to the action.”Virgin TV’s Virgin TV 360 and V6 set top boxes – as well as Stream – already give customers the ability to watch Ultra HD and High Dynamic Range (HDR) content on streaming apps such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and YouTube.
