Fool Me Once remains atop Netflix English TV List

Harlan Coben’s crime thriller adaptation Fool Me Once was #1 on the Netflix English TV List for the second week in a row with 23.9 million views in the week commencing January 8th. Action drama The Brothers Sun, starring Michelle Yeoh, climbed to second place with 6.9 million views. Making their list debuts were the family drama Boy Swallows Universe starring Phoebe Tonkin, Simon Baker and Sophie Wilde at #5 (3.6 million views), stand-up special Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli at #8 (2.3 million views), reality competition series The Trust at #9 (2.1 million views) and Season 3 of Sonic Prime at #10 (2.1 million views).

Lift, F. Gary Gray’s new action-heist-thriller starring Kevin Hart, landed atop the English Films List with 32.8 million views, making it the most watched title of the week. Staying strong on the English Films List were Adam Sandler’s animated comedy Leo, which took seventh place in its eighth week on the list with 4 million views, and Zack Snyder’s epic science-fiction fantasy Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, which claimed eighth place in its fourth week on the list with 3.9 million views.

After just 11 days, J.A. Bayona’s epic survival story Society of the Snow (Spain) has cracked the Most Popular Non-English Films List. The film, which is Spain’s nomination for Best International Film, spent its second week as #1 on the Non-English Films List with 28.1 million views.

Money Heist spin-off series Berlin (Spain) spent its third week atop the Non-English TV List with 8.7 million views. New entrants to the list included mystery adaptation Detective Forst (Poland) at #2  with 4.8 million views, anime Delicious in Dungeon (Japan) at #6 with 2.2 million views and Love is Blind: Sweden at #10  with 1.1 million views.
