One Piece remains at Netflix #1

One Piece remained #1 on Netflix’s English TV list with 19.3 million views as the most viewed title in the week commencing September 4th. The live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga now has 37.8 million views in less than two weeks since its release.

Netflix viewers cozied up to the return of Virgin River with Season 5 debuting at #2 with 9M views. The UK thriller Who Is Erin Carter? continued to pull in viewers, coming in at #3 (7.1 million views), while UK comedy series Top Boy returned for Season 3 and debuted at #4 (5.6 million views). Other new entrants this week included the stand-up comedy special Shane Gillis: Beautiful Dogs at #6 (2.9 million views), nature documentary series Predators at #7 (2.9 million views), and limited series Spy Ops at #10 (1.9 million views). Rounding out the list were returning titles Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones at #5 (3.1 million views), Part 5 of Disenchantment at #8 (2.2 million views), and Painkiller at #9 (2 million views).

Adam Sandler’s family comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah held onto the top spot on the English Films list for the second week in a row with 8.8 million views. The film now has 52 million views in only three weeks since its release. Other returning titles on the list included the romantic comedy Choose Love at #2 (7 million views) and Heart of Stone at #9 (3.5 million views), bringing the Gal Gadot action film to 91.9 million views in just five weeks since release. Swedish thriller A Day and a Half reached the top of the Non-English Films list with 6.5 million views. Spanish documentary Rosa Peral’s Tapes debuted at #4 (1.5 million views) while Filipino romance drama What If debuted at #8 (0.8 million views). Returning titles rounded out the list including the heartwarming Mexican comedy The Great Seduction at #2 (3.6 million views), the Dutch romantic comedy Happy Ending at #3 (3.4 million views), the Indian romance Friday Night Plan at #5 (1.3v views), Spanish horror film Killer Book Club at #6 (0.9 million views), and the German dystopian thriller Paradise at #9 (0.7 million views).

German limited drama series Dear Child debuted atop the Non-English TV list with 10.2 million views. Also making their debuts were Spanish thriller Burning Body at #2 (4.1 million views), Korean romance drama A Time Called You at #7 (1.4 million views), Thai comedy thriller 6ixtynin9 at #8 (1.4 million views), and Colombian drama Miss Adrenaline: A Tale of Twins at #10 (1.2 million views). All three seasons of the Norwegian fantasy series Ragnarok returned to the list for the second week in a row, with Season 3 coming in at #3 (3.1 million views), followed by Season 2 at #6 (1.5 million views), and Season 1 grabbing the #9 spot (1.4 million views). Other returning titles included the Korean romantic comedy Destined With You at #4 (2.4 million views), and K-drama Mask Girl at #5 (1.7 million views).
