Mometu, V Channels agree three-film deal

Mometu, a free VoD and live TV streaming service, has partnered with content network V Channels to distribute a package of independent horror features. The three-film deal will see horror titles Stupid Games, Bittertooth and The Box headed to the free indie streaming platform.

StupidGames-Still1The first in the slate to land on Mometu will be Stupid Games, directed by Nicolas Wendl and Dani Abraham, starring Cass Huckabay, Alyssa Tortomasi, Saad Rolando, Grant Terzakis, Gage Robinson, Ashwini Ganpule, and Larsen Deane. Executive producers are James Cullen Bessack, Mario Niccolo Messina, and Valentina Cau. The film follows a group of friends who unknowingly unleash a malevolent force in a dinner party gone wrong.

The second project, Bittertooth, helmed by Monte Light, stars Helene Udy, Matthew De Vine, Autumn Ivy, Genevieve Thomas, Justin Michael Terry, Michaela Ivey, and Joe Altieri. The movie sees two true-crime podcasters track down a serial killer in an act of vigilantism that leads to a bloody, shocking revelation.

The final feature, The Box, comes from director Emanuele Pica and stars Christy St. John, Bryan Scamman, James McCoy, Natalie Porretta, Chiyeko Jones, Drew Crocker, Paulina Aguirre, and Anna Koroknyai. The story follows a CEO who must answer for his crimes and accept a series of horrific punishments.
