The Great Courses Studios appoints West One International

Factual content producer, The Great Courses Studios (TGCS) has appointed UK based distributor, West One International, to distribute its library of compelling programming globally.
The agreement sees West One picking up worldwide (ex. North America) television broadcast rights to TGCS’ premier factual content, with select titles making their debut at MIPTV 2024.
Brand new programmes launching at MIPTV include: ‘Reversing the Climate Disaster’, a feature-length documentary inspired by Bill Gates’ best-selling book “How to avoid a climate disaster – The solutions we have and the breakthroughs we need”, ‘Rome: Rise of Empire’, ‘True Crime: Killer Cases’ and ‘The Life of Jesus: History Revealed’.
The Great Courses Studios was founded in 2024 as part of the global expansion of the hugely successful ‘The Great Courses’ brand, the leading factual educational streaming company in the US, which was founded in 1990.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Paul Suijk, President and CEO of The Great Courses Studios, said: “We are delighted to have appointed West One International to distribute our programming around the world.
