Law&Crime announces premiere of new Hulu series

March 28, 2024

Legal and true crime network, Law&Crime, has announced the Hulu premiere of its 8-part investigative series Cult Justice, a new show presenting first-hand accounts of survivors’ and prosecutors’ efforts to bring notorious cult leaders to justice, many speaking for the first time.

Alongside the stories of individual survival and escape, each episode also features candid interviews with the detectives who brought them to justice and the evidence uncovered along the way. All right episodes are set to air on Hulu on March 28th.

Hulu acquired Cult Justice from Cineflix Rights, the UK independent TV content distributor, and the deal is the latest development in a multi-year partnership with media company TEGNA to co-produce up to 250 hours of true crime and investigative originals across a worldwide market. The production relationship between the networks has allowed Law&Crime to continue to build its documentary success into complex, hour-long episodes with the leveraged exploration of VAULT Studios, TEGNA’s archival library of investigative content.

Serving as senior executive producers on Cult Justice are Emmy Award-winning journalists and producers Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz, ABC News’ Chief Legal Analyst Dan Abrams, Law&Crime President Rachel Stockman, TEGNA’s VP of Entertainment Programming Brian Weiss and Cineflix’s VP of Acquisitions – North America, Felicia Litovitz
