US Open Qualifiers on Eurosport digital platforms

August 22, 2018

Eurosport has unveiled details of its coverage ever for this year’s US Open, with more live tennis than ever before from Flushing Meadows across both linear and digital platforms.

Eurosport will air exclusive live digital coverage from US Open qualifying, featuring former top five ranked players Eugenie Bouchard and Tommy Robredo, with matches from five courts free-to-air on eurosport.com and also available on Eurosport Player and the Eurosport app.

For the main tournament, Eurosport will broadcast more than 300 hours of live tennis – more than ever before – with all 16 courts and every match available to watch live on Eurosport Player, the first time all courts have been produced for live coverage.

Emir Osmanbegovic, SVP Sports Content and Production at Eurosport, said: “With the legends of the game returning to fitness and form in 2018, this year’s US Open promises to be a fascinating tournament and we are thrilled to be showing every match, on every court and live qualifiers for the first time. Our digital platforms – eurosport.com, Eurosport Player and the Eurosport app – are the only destinations to watch live qualifying and every singles and doubles match from the main draw, giving fans complete control and choice of their viewing experience and with bonus features, such as classic US Open matches, to ignite the passion of tennis fans and celebrate the 50th edition of this unique tournament.

“Our enhanced digital coverage is complemented by more dedicated local production and the biggest names in tennis providing best-in-class analysis. If you’re a tennis fan, Eurosport is the best place to follow the final Grand Slam of the year, on all platforms and devices at home or on the go,” he concluded.
