DPP’s Tech Leaders’ Briefing 2019 features speakers from 30 major media providers

September 5, 2019

The DPP, the media industry’ business network, today announced the programme for its annual Tech Leaders’ Briefing event. The programme features an unparalleled number of senior leaders from a huge range of different media organisations. It will also include the launch of an important new industry wide initiative.

“The purpose of the Tech Leaders’ Briefing is to provide clear, actionable intelligence from the world’s major media organisations as they seek to deliver the content consumers want,” says DPP Managing Director Mark Harrison. “This year’s event is bigger than ever – and will feature an incredible range of companies.”

As well as hearing from established players, this year’s delegates will also be told the priorities of many of the world’s largest social video creators, including Jungle Creations, Brave Bison and Refinery29.

The DPP’s Tech Leaders’ Briefing 2019 will feature senior executives from 30 major media companies from around the world. Sessions will focus on the regions of North America, EMEA, and the UK, as well as key output types such as Sport, News and social video.

“Our unique format ensures we will see key trends build up in real time as each speaker provides their priorities,” adds Harrison. “We believe this to be the most intense and complete industry intelligence briefing in the world.”

This year’s event, which is only open to DPP members, will also include a special announcement about a brand new industry initiative spearheaded by the DPP. The initiative comes directly out of strategic priorities shared by several major content providers at last year’s event.

The Tech Leaders’ Briefing 2019 is enabled by DPP member companies Google Cloud, Sony, Avid, SDVI, Mindtree, Cerberus, and Ownzones.

Further announcements about the event, including special guest keynote speakers, will follow throughout the Autumn. The Tech Leaders’ Briefing is the largest of 10 international DPP events between September and December, including a number of engagements for senior executives, and the DPP’s Securing Creativity conference on 16th October.
