17% US ‘likely’ to be HBO OTT subs

Research from Parks Associates suggests that 17 per cent of US broadband households are likely to subscribe to an OTT video service from HBO. Among these likely subscribers, 91 per cent are currently pay-TV subscribers, and roughly one-half would cancel their pay-TV service after subscribing to this HBO OTT service.
