Larry King on Hulu

July 17, 2012

Larry King’s new online interview show has found a home on Hulu.

“Larry King Now,” is premiering right away with King’s interview with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. The King programme is part of a gradual expansion of the line-up of on-demand shows on Hulu. Four shows a week will be added.

“Larry King Now” is part of a broader distribution deal with Ora TV, an Internet TV network financed by Carlos Slim Helú, the Mexican billionaire. Larry King, a co-founder of the network, said in March that he would start hosting shows for Ora TV later in the year.

King, 78, is best known for “Larry King Live,” the CNN interview programme that ended in 2010, six months before his contract was up, amid low television ratings.

“Larry King Now” will be streamed both on Hulu and on Ora TV, the companies said.
