January 15, 2014

SeaChange International and ThinkAnalytics, developer of the world’s most deployed multiplatform TV search and recommendations engine, have announced their global reseller agreement and integration of the SeaChange Adrenalin multi-screen video platform with the ThinkAnalytics Search and Recommendations Engine. The joint solution will enable video service providers and content owners to deliver multi-screen television with the advantages of personalised and intuitive content discovery.

“Multi-screen television content is going deeper and incorporating OTT, so rapid presentation of the right content amid limitless choices is more vital than ever for subscriber satisfaction,” said George Kajos, General Manager, Platform Business, SeaChange. “SeaChange and ThinkAnalytics are already showing successful collaboration in deployments with large cable providers in the U.S. and Europe and we’re in pursuit of new opportunities together. We anticipate this partnership will help motivate more providers to establish rich multi-screen services.”

“Working on this solution with SeaChange was a natural choice, as both companies have a history of working side-by-side in customer deployments around the world,” said Peter Docherty, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, ThinkAnalytics. “The solution enables delivery of more personal and targeted experiences, including multi-lingual, linear, VoD, OTT and sports content, across multiple screens for service providers around the globe.”

SeaChange Adrenalin enables operators of every size to deliver and manage personalized multi-screen television experiences to set-top boxes, mobile devices, OTT players and other IP connected devices. Combining Adrenalin and the SeaChange Nitro subscriber experience with ThinkAnalytics’ Search and Recommendation Engine helps service providers and content owners to accelerate the deployment and streamline the management of personalised services across the device ecosystem.

ThinkAnalytics has a customer base of over 50 operators worldwide serving more than 130 million licensed subscribers. The company offers personalized recommendations that are based on the industry’s most comprehensive data and text mining platform. The company’s Recommendations Engine enables broadcasters, pay-TV operators and OTT providers to deliver highly personalized TV recommendations that combine multiple sources of data across screens in 17 languages. The platform is available as a cloud-based or on-premise solution.
