Entone, Anevia power hybrid IPTV and OTT

September 2, 2011

Entone, a provider of Hybrid TV and Connected Home solutions, and Anevia, a specialist in video streaming solutions, have announced the integration of Anevia’s ViaMotion OTT solutions with Entone’s Hybrid TV devices and media hubs.

Anevia offers a range of IP video streaming solutions for live and VoD content over managed IP networks as well as the Internet. Entone’s Hybrid TV devices and media hubs enable operators to deliver a TV service that blends the best of traditional linear TV programming with innovative cloud-based media and applications – all from a single device, a consistent user interface and a unified service offering. The integrated Anevia-Entone solution enables service operators to accelerate their time to market, while also offering subscribers more compelling next-gen TV services.

Separately, Anevia has revealed that M6 has selected its IP video products for building a multi-site IPTV head-end for channel monitoring, internal distribution, and rights management.

The M6 Group is the private owner of several popular French TV channels including the free M6, W9 channels, the pay-TV channels Paris Premiere, Téva, TF6, Série Club, and M6 Music, and the M6 Boutique La Chaîne shopping channel. The M6 Group chose Anevia to supply its headquarters, just outside of Paris in Neuilly sur Seine, with an IPTV head-end solution over a fibre optic network to replace a legacy coaxial and twisted pair based system.
