CoralTree supports Cisco’s upgrade at Sky-D
February 21, 2014
Software company CoralTree has confirmed the successful upgrade to the Titan TV Gateway, part of the daVinci portfolio, for Sky Deutschland. In partnership with Cisco, CoralTree provides a scalable TV Gateway to enable secure and efficient activation of Sky Deutschland’s video services to customers.
The objective for Sky Deutschland to upgrade its systems was to future-proof the service activation of its high quality programme content to a growing customer base. CoralTree upgraded the Titan TV Gateway, as part of the overall Cisco upgrade of Videoguard, its conditional access solution, to achieve the goal. The successful upgrades to Sky Deutschland’s infrastructure, implemented with minimal downtime and no impact on the organisation or customers, mean that now the video service delivery is able to scale to meet future demand.
“As Sky Deutschland grows, both from adding customers and an increased demand for our innovative services, we look to work in partnership with trusted suppliers to support our future business direction,” said Andreas Rudloff, VP Platform Services, Sky Deutschland. “We have a long-term relationship with CoralTree. Its technology, as part of the wider Cisco solution, gives us the confidence that we have a secure and scalable, high performance platform. This investment will support our ability to continue to grow and deliver exceptional customer service.”
