Conviva, an expert in real-time big data, viewer-centric video optimisation, has announced a deal with Liberty Global to provide its global intelligence and real-time audience and quality reporting for Horizon TV.
Liberty Global’s multi-screen product Horizon Go offers its customers the possibility to watch live TV and on demand content on their laptop, tablet and smartphone. By using the Horizon Go app, customers can experience a variety of content inside and outside the home.
Conviva’s real-time big data processing will ensure viewers get the quality experience they expect and deserve. Conviva Insights provides a detailed, granular look at the customer viewing experience-providing publishers the aggregated information they need to control the video delivery for a high quality experience without buffering and at the best quality possible. Insights will also provide aggregated real-time diagnostics and alerts, across all devices, to identify potential issues that may impede the viewing experience as well as opportunities to improve overall quality.
