The Mexico City ePrix – the fifth round of the FIA Formula E Championship, which takes place on March 12th – will be streamed live online in the UK via YouTube, Dailymotion and through the official Formula E app and website http://www.fiaformuale.com/.

The race was originally scheduled to be aired live on digital FTA channel ITV4, as has been the case with all previous races since the inception of the electric car series. However, a change in the race date from March 19th to March 12th means that there is now a clash with the World Grand Prix Snooker semi-final.

Full coverage of the race will be shown at 11:15pm GMT on Saturday March 12 on ITV4, with the race highlights broadcast on ITV at 9:25am GMT on March 13th, as is traditionally the case. The remaining races will be shown live across ITV’s channels.

Ali Russell, Director of Media and Communications at Formula E said: “While it is very unfortunate that the scheduling clash means the Mexico race will not be shown live on television in the UK, this does give us the opportunity to stream the race live on the internet and opens up the opportunity for a whole new audience to experience the thrill of Formula E.”
