Bjärtun appointed EVP Distribution at SF Studios

SF Studios has announced that Elsa Berg Bjärtun has been appointed Executive Vice President Distribution. In her new position, she will be responsible for SF Studios’ distribution business covering acquisition, sales and marketing of film and TV content in all windows to the Nordic and international market. The recruitment is a very important step in the company’s strategy and ambition to strengthen its distribution business even further.

Bjärtun has during the last year in her role as EVP Digital Services, together with her team, made a tremendous job in improving the company’s digital services SF Anytime and SF Kids Play, and she has a strong track record from previous positions within the company such as a managing role in the acquisitions business.

“I am extremely honored and humble to take on this new role and responsibility. I am looking forward to work closely together with SF Studios competent team and partners throughout the Nordics to drive change and outline a clear vision and strategy for the distribution business going forward. Our ambition is set high and I am sure it is going to be an intense, challenging and inspiring journey ahead”, says Bjärtun.

Bjärtun will take on her new position immediately in parallel with her previous role and will report to Michael Porseryd, CEO of SF Studios.
