iflix launching 24hr news channel

Streaming service iflix is set to launch news channel that will aggregate content from international, regional and local news networks across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The free, 24 hour ‘iflix NEWS’ channel is scheduled to launch on September 3rd.

Audiences today, particularly the rapidly growing youth segments want immediate access to the stories and events that are shaping the world around them. Through iflix NEWS, we are working with many of world’s most trusted and reputable news sources, to deliver timely, comprehensive stories and current affairs to customers with an exceptional user experience, completely on their own terms,” commented iflix co-founder and CEO, Mark Britt.

“We have invested significantly in the creation and development of our new 24-hour news hub including editorial and curation teams and infrastructure, working in close partnership with international, regional and local content providers,” added Britt.
