Connected TV World Summit now 1 day event

March 10, 2020

The Connected TV World Summit, due to take place in London next week, has announced that it will now be a “single stream one-day event”.

In a press statement, the organisers said: “Over the last couple of weeks, we have kept a close eye on any new developments with regards to the current coronavirus situation and with people still booking tickets and making travel plans, we are still going ahead with the Connected TV World Summit. We believe this is the right thing to do for those already invested in flight and hotel reservations. However, we are aware that some companies have imposed international travel bans and are asking their employees not to attend industry events. Sadly, this inevitably has had a knock-on effect on the number of attendees we expected and the speaker line-up for next week.”

“In light of this, we have taken the decision to reduce the event to a single stream one-day event which will take place on 18th March at The Royal College of Physicians and encourage all ticket holders still planning to attend to come along on this date. We will also run an additional Connected TV World Summit again in October or November this year in its original two-day format and this will be free of charge to everyone that holds a delegate pass for the March event .”
