Content Arena appoints Zajancauskas & Hancock

Content Arena the software provider specialising in solutions to facilitate sports media rights trading has announced two new appointments to continue its expansion by adding Lukas Zajancauskas as Director of Strategy and Business Development, and Harrison Hancock as Director of Business Operations, to its management team.
Zajancauskas and Hancock will work alongside the co-founder & CEO Erik Lorenz, as Content Arena continues to evolve and develop its innovative and market-leading Marketplace and Rights Manager solutions for media rights buyers and sellers.

Zajancauskas joins from the NBA, where he was a Manager of Global Media Distribution – EMEA. Based in London, Lukas was part of the team working on new business opportunities and key media rights renewals, with a particular responsibility of managing media intelligence & insights for the EMEA region. He was also co-leading the EMEA Primetime Games project – NBA’s main strategic initiative for the region, to bring more games to European time zone and create an appointment to view for local fans.
Hancock’s background is in technology consulting, having worked with PwC as a manager for over 3 years and a boutique consultancy before that, where his focus was on using transformative technology solutions to bring innovation and efficiency to organisations in the media industry such as BBC Studios, ITV & others. He has worked alongside many SaaS and off-the-shelf enterprise software providers and will bring this industry knowledge as well as understanding of how organisations adopt and implement new technologies to Content Arena as they expand their technology platform and business model.
