ODMedia to manage US aggregation for White Noise

October 8, 2020

ODMedia Group has announced that The Atlantic has tapped the company to manage the US aggregation for its first feature documentary White Noise. The highly anticipated film investigates the rise of the alt-right and will premiere in the US on October 21st on Apple TV, Amazon and Google Play.

“We are incredibly excited to add The Atlantic to our rapidly growing client list. White Noise is a deeply powerful film and we are honoured that The Atlantic has looked to our experience and expertise to manage the launch of their first feature film,” said Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia Group.

White Noise is the definitive inside story of the movement that has come to be known as the alt-right. With unprecedented access, the critically acclaimed documentary tracks the rise of far-right nationalism by focusing on the lives of three of its main proponents: Mike Cernovich, a conspiracy theorist and sex blogger turned media entrepreneur; Lauren Southern, an anti-feminist, anti-immigration YouTube star; and Richard Spencer, a white-power ideologue.

“As a team we are humbled and delighted to be working with The Atlantic on this important and powerful piece of content. A gem like White Noise is the reason we are so passionate about what we do; helping rights-owners reach their audience with their unique content,” said Viveka Nilsson, Business Development & Head of Originals, ODMedia Group.

Directed and shot by Daniel Lombroso in his directorial debut, the film is the result of a four-year commitment to investigating and exposing the roots of rising white nationalism in the US and abroad. The documentary takes the viewer into the terrifying heart of the movement including explosive protests, riotous parties, and the rooms where populist and racist ideologies are refined, weaponized, and injected into the mainstream.
